The following organizations and programs are state-level or publicly funded resources available to families in New Jersey. These services provide information, support, and access to care for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

New Jersey Early Intervention System

Provides services and supports for infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) with developmental delays or disabilities. Early Intervention connects families to evaluations, therapy services, and developmental supports.

PerformCare New Jersey

Administers New Jersey’s Children’s System of Care, helping families access behavioral health services, intellectual and developmental disability supports, and care coordination.

New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities

Provides services and funding for adults (age 21+) with developmental disabilities, including residential services, employment supports, and community-based programs.

Family Support Organization of New Jersey

Offers peer support, advocacy, education, and system navigation assistance for families raising children with emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges.

NJ FamilyCare

New Jersey’s publicly funded health insurance program, which includes Medicaid and CHIP. Many therapy and developmental services may be accessed through NJ FamilyCare eligibility.

Kornerstone Kids, LLC is a private pediatric occupational therapy clinic with locations in Livingston and Florham Park, New Jersey. We provide specialized therapy services for children from birth through 18 years old, supporting a wide range of developmental needs including sensory processing disorder (SPD), ADHD/ADD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), challenges with self-regulation and emotional regulation, fine motor development, motor planning, coordination, visual motor, visual perceptual skills and handwriting skills
